Dairy milk gives muscles a protein boost, delivers calcium to your bones and provides carbohydrates for energy. But, if you don’t do dairy, any milk (almond, coconut, cashew, etc.) will work.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 Teaspoon Honey
  • ½-1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon (to taste)
  • 4 Cardamom Pods (Crack them open and deseed them. You’ll use the seeds)
  • A Pinch- ¼ Teaspoon Ground Ginger (to taste)
  • A Pinch of Black Pepper (to taste)

Add all ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat while whisking. Make sure it’s well mixed and turn the heat to low when you notice steam rising from the liquid. Taste it and adjust spices and sweetener to your liking. Let it simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
